We are pleased to offer the following open first aid course:

Emergency First Aid 8 h

This course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond effectively in emergencies that require immediate action.

The course is organised by AUTS-Tuote Oy and delivered by Anu Lamminen, Occupational Health Nurse, First Aid and Health Education Instructor (ETK®).

Topics covered during the course

• Acting in an emergency and making an emergency call
• Emergency first aid
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Using an automated external defibrillator (AED)
  • Assisting an unconscious casualty
  • Managing airway obstruction (choking)
  • Controlling severe bleeding
  • Shock, severe circulatory failure
• The most common medical emergencies
• First aid equipment and its use
• Electrical accidents
• Wounds, burns and eye injuries
• Psychological first aid after an accident

This is a practical, hands-on course where you will actively participate and practise first aid skills. The goal is to help you build the confidence and "muscle memory" needed to respond effectively in an emergency.

Course Fee

The participation fee is €175.00 per person (incl. 25.5% VAT). The fee includes

• training
• a first aid certificate delivered by email
• lunch, and morning and afternoon coffee or tea .

First Aid Certificate

The course fee includes a first aid certificate in PDF format, which will be sent to participants by email. The certificate is valid for three (3) years.

If you would also like a traditional wallet-sized plastic first aid card, it is available for an additional fee of +€10.00.

Please note that the certificate can only be issued to participants who attend the entire training session. Kindly take this into account when planning your work and other commitments.

This course and the certificate awarded upon completion meet the official requirements for workplace first aid training in Finland. In addition, the course content covers the topics required by the SFS 6002 Electrical Safety Standard.

Professional Driver CPC Periodic Training

This course is approved for the periodic training requirements of professional truck and bus drivers. The training is provided in cooperation with ADR-koulutus Timo Kallionpää Oy, which is responsible for registering the course and participant details with Traficom.If you require CPC periodic training credit, please indicate this when registering. The Driver CPC registration fee is +€13.00 per participant (vat 0 %).

Registration

The course is limited to 15 participants, and places will be allocated in the order registrations are received. The course will be held when a minimum of five participants have registered.
